The surrounding wool layers wick moisture, help regulate temperature, and act as a natural flame barrier. The cover is quilted to premium cotton fabric, and the wool is pre-compressed to minimize further compression. This mattress may also be used on a slat platform bed or adjustable base, and is made in the USA.
